kashi is a shiitake mushroom that was born out of an oak tree struck by lightning. because of his unique start in life, he has dedicated his life to unique hobbies, one being making and collecting compound butters. his favorite recipe at the moment is the miso mushroom butter ⁺˚⋆｡°🍄₊

what are butter keepers?

a butter keeper is a vessel for your butter, keeping it soft, spreadable, and ready to eat without having to live in the fridge. just add a little water into the base to create an airtight seal, and suddenly your butter has a cute little home to hang out in on your counter for 2-4 weeks if you keep it away from the heat and change the water every 2-3 days (depends on your climate).
